Chocolate Substitute for Dogs - Carob

Most of us love chocolate and most of us love our dogs. So it follows naturally for some of us that we might want to share chocolate with dogs.

But don't. Chocolate contains theobromine which is toxic to dogs. At a minimum your dog could get the effects of caffeine. They may feel bad, vomit or get diarrhea. At the maximum your dog could die within hours. Note: If ever you feel your dog may have eaten chocolate, contact your dog's vet immediately.
